Elizabeth Bishop is an Adjunct Professor at City University of New York's School of Professional Studies (since 2017) and the University of San Francisco's School of Education. She serves as the 2024-2025 Scholar-in-Residence at Teachers College, Columbia University. An award-winning educator and researcher, her work focuses on critical analysis of youth development systems with emphasis on racial justice and equity.
Her research examines critical literacy, youth organizing, data privacy in educational contexts, and anti-racist pedagogies. Bishop's scholarship intersects education policy, community engagement, and social justice frameworks to address systemic inequities affecting marginalized youth populations.
