Elissa Allen

Elissa Allen is an Assistant Professor at the School of Nursing, Western Michigan University. Her work bridges health care ethics, health disparities, and nursing education, with a focus on addressing social determinants of health and racial disparities.

Allen collaborates with the Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine to improve maternal-infant health outcomes in Kalamazoo.
