Elise Stroetmann

Elise Stroetmann is a doctoral student and Research Associate at the University of Potsdam, affiliated with the Didactics of Mathematics department within the Institute of Mathematics since 2021. She contributes to projects like DigiProMIN and QuaMath, focusing on digitalization in mathematics teacher education and enhancing teaching quality through specialized training. Her research emphasizes the use of digital media in secondary education, argumentation and proof in geometry, and didactic approaches to analysis.

Elise is a member of the German Centre for Teacher Education Mathematics and has participated in initiatives such as the BMBF-funded project developing continuing education modules for mathematics teachers. Her academic background includes a teacher training degree in mathematics and physics from the Technical University of Dresden and a 2021 Victor Klemperer Certificate. She previously held student assistant roles at TU Dresden’s Chair of Physics Education and Erlebnisland Mathematik Dresden.
