Dr. Elisabeth Mundt is a Researcher in the Department of Educational Psychology at the University of Kassel. She is currently on parental leave until autumn 2025, during which she will not supervise theses or administer state examinations. Colleague Madeleine Domenech will handle KonVerS study-related inquiries until October 2025.
Her research focuses on educational psychology, language learning, teaching methods, cognition, motivation, heterogeneity in education, and diagnostic competence. She co-leads the KonVerS project, which investigates the effects of contrasting and comparing learning principles on written language skills for grades 5–6, particularly targeting non-grammar schools. The study involves two double lessons on semantic concepts, capitalization, and diagnostic text competence, with materials designed for students in grades 5–6.
