Elisabeth Maria Griesbauer

Dr. Elisabeth Maria Griesbauer is a Research Fellow at the University of Oslo's Institute of Basic Medical Sciences, where she develops vine copula-based methods for high-dimensional data analysis and synthetic data generation. Her research integrates Bayesian statistics with machine learning techniques to address privacy-preserving data sharing challenges.

Griesbauer's research spans three interconnected domains: (1) dependence modeling using vine copula structures, (2) privacy-utility optimization in synthetic data generation, and (3) variational inference methods for complex Bayesian models. Her work contributes to statistical methodology development with applications in biomedical research.
