Elisabeth Huber

Elisabeth Huber is a social and cultural anthropologist and sociologist affiliated with the Center for Environmental Sensitivity at the University for Continuing Education Krems since 2023. She holds a PhD from 2017, focusing on the interrelations of poverty and environmental protection in West African cities. Her research emphasizes housing conditions in informal settlements, inclusive urban planning for vulnerable groups (e.g., women), and socioecological transformation strategies.
