Elisabeth Ersvær is an Associate Professor at the Department of Biotechnology, University of Inland Norway, within the Faculty of Applied Ecology, Agricultural Sciences and Biotechnology. She serves as Merited Lecturer and Study Program Manager for the Bioengineering program. Her roles also include leading the Pedagogical Academy at INN, the National Professional Body for Education and Research in Bioengineering (UHR-HS), and the educational research group EduMedLab. She manages the CaseMedLab project focused on case-based learning in bioengineering.
Her research spans immunology, hematology, and bioengineering education. Key areas include stem cell transplantation outcomes, immune cell dynamics (e.g., monocytes, T cells), exercise physiology, and innovative educational technologies like VR/360° video for laboratory training.
