Elisabeth Adolfsen Øhman is a Research Fellow at the Division of Clinical Nutrition, Faculty of Medicine, University of Oslo. Her work focuses on postpartum metabolic health, maternal nutrition, and obesity management. She holds a Master’s degree (2015) and is completing a PhD on postpartum weight loss and lactation effects.
Research interests include cardiovascular risk factors in women, nutrient intake during lactation, and interventions targeting obesity. She has conducted studies in refugee camps in Algeria and collaborated with Oslo University Hospital.
Key publications examine postpartum body composition, dietary interventions, and HDL subclasses in lactating women. Her work combines clinical trials with population health studies, emphasizing maternal-child health linkages.
