Elisa Virnau serves as a Researcher at the Institute for European Ethnology within the Faculty of Philosophy at Humboldt University of Berlin, collaborating closely with Professor Regina Römhild on institutional initiatives.
Her research spans Cultural Anthropology, European Studies, and Social Anthropology, with specialized focus on anti-racism frameworks, public anthropology networks, and solidarity movements in contemporary European contexts. Recent institutional activities include contributions to the Public Anthropology Network workshop and the colloquium series 'Collaborations and Solidarities in Troubled Times,' reflecting her engagement with urgent socio-political discourse.
