Elisa Rodríguez Ortega is a Professor at the Universidad Camilo José Cela (UCJC) and holds academic roles across multiple institutions. She completed a Psychology degree at the University of Almería (UAL), followed by a Master's in Mental Health Research (UAL), and a Doctorate in Health, Psychology, and Psychiatry (UAL). Currently, she teaches in Psychology and Education programs, coordinates departments, and directs thesis committees.
Research Focus: Her work centers on preclinical models of addiction, neuroeducation, and neuroprotective interventions. Key interests include environmental enrichment's role in mitigating substance abuse, orexin system modulation in addiction, and translational neuroscience applications.
