Elisa Fiala is a Lecturer and Project Manager at the Lucerne School of Social Work (Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts), affiliated with the Institute for Social Pedagogy and Social Policy and the Kompetenzzentrum BuLQ. She holds a PhD in Social Policy from the University of Lisbon, a Master of Human Rights from Curtin University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University. Her research focuses on disability rights, work integration, and participatory methods, with notable projects addressing housing and employment for people with disabilities in Switzerland. She teaches courses on social pedagogy, work integration, and qualitative research methods.
