Elisa Arias García

Elisa Arias García serves as Assistant Professor in the Department of Didactics of Language and Literature at the Faculty of Education, Pontifical University of Salamanca, actively contributing to the NEYLA research group (Neuroestética, educación y lenguajes artísticos) which bridges cognitive science with artistic pedagogy.

She earned her Doctorate from Pontifical University of Salamanca in 2014 with the thesis titled \"Analysis of the narrative characteristics of the radio series 'Taxi Key' 2014\" under the supervision of Dr. Emma Rodero Antón and Dr. Aurora Pérez Maíllo.

Her research synthesizes Neuroaesthetics, Education, and Artistic Languages to investigate how sensory experiences in media and art influence learning processes, with particular emphasis on narrative structures in audio broadcasting and cross-modal perception in educational contexts. This work extends into Media Studies and Language Didactics through analysis of linguistic patterns in artistic expression.

As a core member of the NEYLA research group, she develops interdisciplinary frameworks connecting neurological responses to aesthetic stimuli with pedagogical applications across formal and informal educational settings.
