Eline Bjørke

Eline Bjørke is a Senior Lecturer in Nordic Languages at the University of Innlandet, affiliated with the Department of Nordic Languages and Literature under the Faculty of Teacher Education and Pedagogy. She teaches in primary school teacher education, associate professor programs, and Norwegian language courses for educators. Her research focuses on spoken language variation, Nynorsk didactics, and literacy instruction. Bjørke holds a Master's degree from NTNU (2017) on dialect change in Løten. She contributes to the research group 'Language and Society' and sits on the National Professional Body for Nordic Languages and Literature. Her work explores Nynorsk as a secondary language, as seen in her 2024 publication co-authored with Elise Takle.
