Her work combines qualitative and quantitative methodologies to address gaps in healthcare provision for this vulnerable group.
Elin has published in journals like International Journal of Qualitative Studies on Health and Well-being and International Journal of Audiology. She contributed to a book on interdisciplinary approaches to successful aging. Her 2022 licentiate thesis further explores DSL prevalence and rehabilitation challenges.
