Elijah Prewitt-Davis serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Religious Studies within the College of Liberal Arts at Mount St. Joseph University, Cincinnati, Ohio. He is a core contributor to the university's "Justice and the Common Good" curriculum initiative, developing and teaching courses that integrate religious studies with contemporary societal challenges.
His educational foundation includes a Ph.D. from Drew University, enabling his interdisciplinary approach to theology and social critique. Research interests span Religious Studies, Theology, Social Justice, Race and Religion, Process Philosophy, and New Materialism, reflected in courses like "Race and Justice," "Healing and Loving Creation," "The Theology of Martin Luther King," and "Anxious, Alienated, Confused: The Subject of Late Capitalism." His experimental book project merges academic training in process philosophy with reflections on working-class identity and sustainable farming practices.
