Dr. Elif Kongar is a Professor in the Department of Economics & Business Analytics at the University of New Haven's Pompea College of Business. With over two decades of experience in industrial engineering and sustainability research, she previously served as Associate Dean of Graduate Studies at Fairfield University and Chair of the University of Bridgeport's Technology Management Department.

Her recent publications (2020-2021) demonstrate interdisciplinary expertise spanning reverse supply chains, digital transformation, and machine learning applications. Current work involves integrating blockchain technology with predictive disassembly for circular economy solutions.
Dr. Kongar serves as department editor for the IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management and contributes to the Professional and Educational Activities Committee of IEEE's Technology and Engineering Management Society.
