Elif Ecem Bas

Elif Ecem Bas is an Assistant Professor in the Department of the Built Environment at Aalborg University, Denmark. She is affiliated with The Faculty of Engineering and Science and the Division of Structures, Geotechnics and Risk. Her research focuses on sustainable building design, structural health monitoring, and smart materials in construction.

Education: Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Delft University of Technology (2018).

Her research interests emphasize sustainable construction materials, integration of smart technologies in structural monitoring, and life cycle assessments of innovative materials like cross-laminated timber.
