Elia Henrichs

Elia Henrichs is a Researcher and PhD student at the Department of Food Informatics, University of Hohenheim, affiliated with the Computational Science Hub (CSH). His work focuses on interdisciplinary applications of computer science in food science and biotechnology, including blockchain, smart sensors, and adaptive monitoring systems. He is actively involved in academic service, serving as PhD student representative in the CSH council, and chairing multiple international conferences (e.g., ARCS 2025, OC-DDC 2025, ACSOS 2025).

Elia holds a M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Brewing and Beverage Technology from the Technical University of Munich (TUM), with prior research experience in water system engineering at TUM’s Food Chemistry and Molecular Sensory group. His research interests bridge food supply chain integrity, digital twins, and Industry 4.0 technologies. He has published extensively on adaptive systems, smart packaging, and blockchain applications in food safety.
