Eli Sofie Baltzersen is a Doctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Political Science, University of Oslo, with a focus on Comparative Politics, Gender and Politics, and Quantitative Methods. Her research examines the interplay between state actions and public moral attitudes, particularly in sexual consent frameworks.

Her recent work with Francesca R. Jensenius and Øyvind Søraas Skorge investigates policy-induced moral attitude shifts. In 2022, she received the prestigious Våg å vite-prize for best master's thesis in Political Science.
Currently affiliated with the Comparative Institutions and Regimes (CIR) research group, her methodological toolkit combines experimental design, survey analysis, and computational text data approaches.
