Dr. Eleonora Giunchiglia is a Lecturer at Imperial-X and the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Imperial College London. She completed her PhD at the University of Oxford in 2022.
Her research explores neuro-symbolic approaches to artificial intelligence, combining neural networks with symbolic reasoning. She investigates causal inference methods, algorithmic fairness, and AI safety frameworks. As a junior member of the Future of Life Institute, she contributes to AI ethics and safety discussions.
Dr. Giunchiglia serves on the editorial board of the Neuro-Symbolic AI journal and develops methods that integrate learning and reasoning for more interpretable and reliable AI systems.
