Eleni Sotiropoulou

Eleni Sotiropoulou is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Early Childhood Education and Care, University of West Attica, specializing in pedagogy with emphasis on early childhood education. She holds a PhD from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and two Master’s degrees in Education Sciences and Pedagogy from the University of Western Macedonia. Her academic journey also includes a BA in Kindergarten Teaching from the University of Western Macedonia and a BA in Early Childhood Education from the International Hellenic University of Greece.

She has participated in educational projects as a coordinator, expert, syllabus editor, and textbook author.

Her scholarly output demonstrates a strong emphasis on equity, cultural literacy, and practical interventions in early childhood environments. She has contributed to international journals, book chapters, and conference proceedings, with recurring themes of educator training, refugee integration, and policy analysis in ECEC.
