Eleni Panagiotarakou is a Part-Time Professor at Loyola College for Diversity and Sustainability, Concordia University, specializing in Political Science and Philosophy. Her research focuses on Ancient Greek Philosophy (Plato, Aristophanes), Ethics of Species Extinction, and Philosophy of Space Exploration. She holds a PhD from Concordia University (2009).
Teaching roles include courses across disciplines: Political Theory (POLI 206, POLI 345), Biomedical Ethics (PHIL 235), and Environmental Studies (ENV3101). She received the 2023 President’s Excellence in Teaching Award for mentorship, supporting student conference participation and internships with organizations like the Commission des droits de la personne and Enuf Canada.
