Dr. Eleni E.N. Piteli is an Assistant Professor in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Sussex Business School, affiliated with the Strategy and Marketing department. She joined Sussex in 2013 after completing her PhD in International Business at the University of Leeds. Her academic journey includes a BSc in Economics (Essex), MSc in Development Economics (SOAS), and research fellowships at institutions like UNCTAD and Cambridge University. Her research focuses on FDI, economic development, antitrust policy in digital platforms, and migrant remittances' impact on growth. She has published in top journals like Journal of World Business and contributed to the Palgrave Encyclopedia of Strategic Management.
Teaching responsibilities include courses on Globalisation & Integration (PG), Strategy (UG), and International Business Environment. She has also lectured on International Entrepreneurship and Small Firms.
