Elena Gervilla García

Elena Gervilla García is a Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of the Balearic Islands (Spain), specializing in Methodology of Behavioral Sciences. She serves as Deputy Director and is a member of the European Society for Prevention Research (EUSPR) management team. Her affiliation includes the Data Analysis Research Group (GRAD) and the 'Statistical and Psychometric Procedures Applied in Health Sciences' group at the Balearic Islands Health Research Institute.

Since 2002, she has taught courses in Methodology, Statistics, Experimental Designs, and Research Methods across undergraduate and graduate programs in Psychology and Human Resources Management. Her research focuses on health promotion, mental health interventions, addiction/suicide prevention in youth, and leveraging technology for healthy behaviors, integrating qualitative and quantitative methods.

She actively contributes to interdisciplinary initiatives, including the UIB Climate Change Interdisciplinary Lab (LINCC UIB) as an innovation node member. Her work emphasizes evidence-based evaluation of health programs and policy development.
