Elena Cacho Asenjo is a Medical Consultant at the Department of Anesthesia and Critical Care, affiliated with the School of Medicine at the University of Navarra. She completed her PhD in 2008 with a thesis focused on clinical trials involving N-acetylcysteine in ischemia/reperfusion injury during liver surgery, supervised by Dr. Ana Sáez Fernández and Dr. Pablo Monedero Rodríguez. Her work is associated with the NeuroAnes research group and the Clinica Universidad de Navarra.
