Elaine M Wilson

Elaine M Wilson, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor in the Education Division at the University of Pittsburgh - Johnstown. She holds a BS in Elementary Education (Duquesne University), MEd in Community Mental Health and Special Education Support (Duquesne University), a graduate certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis (University of Pittsburgh - Oakland), and a PhD in Instructional Management and Leadership (Robert Morris University). She also completed postgraduate work in Education Policy and Leadership through a fellowship in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania.

Research Interests: Focused on the C-STREAMM (Creativity, Science, Research, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics, Mindfulness) Learning Framework, assistive technology integration in STEM and general education, immersive/virtual technologies for pre-service teacher classroom management training, and pre-service teachers' perceptions of AI implementation in education. Her work emphasizes inclusive practices and innovative teaching strategies.
