Elaine Goldberg

Elaine Goldberg is a Research Fellow and visual ethnographer at the University of Vienna's Department of Social and Cultural Anthropology, affiliated with the Vienna Visual Anthropology Lab. She contributes to the 'Sorgeräume' project under the Ludwig-Boltzmann-Gesellschaft and the 'Caring Communities for Future' Impact Lab, focusing on artistic-ethnographic exploration of care and transdisciplinary research processes.

Research Interests: Epistemic cultures, ethnographic media practices, media theory, and artistic research. Her work bridges sensory ethnography, filmic exploration of spaces, and transdisciplinary collaboration. Recent projects include the film BUILDING SPACES, showcased at international film festivals.
