Elaine Augustine

Elaine Augustine is a Lecturer in the Department of Psychological Sciences at Texas Tech University (TTU), with a focus on undergraduate studies. She holds a B.S. in Psychology from Southern University and a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology from Indiana University. Her research interests include cognitive development in children, particularly object recognition and early learning processes. She has received multiple teaching awards, including the Excellence in Teaching Award (2015–2016) and Outstanding Professor Awards from the University of South Florida, Sarasota-Manatee.

Dr. Augustine’s work has been recognized with the Editor’s Choice Award for her 2011 article in the Journal of Cognition and Development. Her teaching spans Developmental Psychology, Statistical Methods, and Research Methods.
