Elad Zelingher is a Donald J. Lewis Postdoctoral Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Michigan. He holds a Ph.D. from Yale University (2022), an M.S. from Tel-Aviv University (2017), and a B.S. from Tel-Aviv University (2014). His research focuses on Number Theory and Representation Theory, particularly exploring automorphic forms, gamma factors, and representations of algebraic groups.
His recent work includes studies on tori periods of Weil representations, Speh representations in supercuspidal contexts, and Bessel functions in finite linear groups. These investigations contribute to foundational questions in algebraic geometry and the Langlands program. His articles often bridge Number Theory and Representation Theory, addressing topics like Kloosterman sums, Hall-Littlewood polynomials, and exterior square gamma factors.
Zelingher’s research also engages with finite field analogs and p-adic groups, emphasizing connections between algebraic structures and automorphic L-functions. He currently works within the Mathematics Department at the University of Michigan, contributing to its vibrant research environment in Number Theory.
