Elad Yom-Tov is a Senior Principal Researcher at Microsoft Research and a Visiting Assistant Professor at the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology. His work bridges Machine Learning, Information Retrieval, and Medical Informatics to enhance healthcare through digital data analysis.

Dr. Yom-Tov's research extends to digital health innovations, crowdsourcing for medical advancement, and behavioral science applications. His contributions have led to breakthroughs in high-speed engineering, brain-computer interfaces, and search engine optimization.
He has authored over 150 academic papers, four books, and holds more than 20 patents. His latest book, Crowdsourced Health: How What You Do on the Internet Will Improve Medicine (2016), highlights his expertise in health data science.
Dr. Yom-Tov studied at Tel-Aviv University and the Technion. He currently serves on advisory boards for the Roybal Center for Therapeutic Optimization Using Behavioral Science (Harvard) and the Jockey Club Online Youth Emotional Support "Open Up" (Hong Kong).
Outside academia, he enjoys hiking, tinkering, building, and photography.
