El-Haj LAAMRI is an Associate Professor at the University of Lorraine, affiliated with Polytech Nancy and the Institute Élie Cartan de Lorraine (IECL). His research focuses on partial differential equations, particularly elliptic/parabolic reaction-diffusion systems, nonlocal operators, and fractional calculus.
- Organized conferences: EDP from Theory to Applications (2019, Nancy); 1st Franco-Moroccan Congress of Applied Mathematics (2018, Marrakech)
- Active in public scientific outreach: Led the 'Science and Society' lecture series featuring Nobel laureates and Fields Medalists
Research trends include nonlocal parabolic systems, fractional Laplacian analysis, and singular potential equations with applications in population dynamics and control theory.
Teaching: Currently instructs Mathematics and Optimization at Polytech Nancy; previously directed the 'Partial Differential Equations and Numerical Analysis' master's option (University of Lorraine-Sousse double degree program).
Labs/Teams: Collaborates with INRIA teams SIMBA, SPHINX, and PASTA; contributes to the Euro-Maghrebin laboratory's EDP applications.
