Ekrem Murat is an Associate Professor at the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering within the College of Engineering at Wayne State University. He holds a Ph.D. in Management Science/Operations Research from McGill University (2006) and has extensive experience in applying optimization, simulation, and data mining techniques to complex systems in supply chain logistics, healthcare, and product design. His research spans interdisciplinary collaborations with federal agencies and industry leaders.
