Eiren Jacobson

Dr. Eiren Jacobson is a Research Fellow at the University of St Andrews' School of Mathematics and Statistics, specializing in marine population dynamics and ecological modeling. Her research focuses on understanding anthropogenic impacts on marine mammals through advanced statistical approaches.

Research interests center on:

• Marine mammal behavioral responses to naval sonar and other disturbances
• Integrated population models for cetacean conservation
• Development of methodologies for aerial and acoustic survey data integration
• Fisheries stock assessment techniques
