Eiman Azim is an Associate Professor at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies, holding the William Scandling Developmental Chair. His research focuses on neural circuits governing dexterous movement, particularly how the brain and spinal cord coordinate complex motor behaviors. He employs molecular genetic tools, electrophysiology, and advanced imaging to dissect motor pathways.
