Eileen R. Martin is an Associate Professor at Colorado School of Mines, jointly appointed in Geophysics and Applied Math and Statistics with a 60/40 split. She collaborates with two industry-aligned consortia: the Center for Wave Phenomena (CWP) and the Center to Advance the Science of Exploration to Reclamation in Mining (CASERM).

Her research bridges computational science and geophysics with applications to subsurface characterization using advanced sensing technologies. Recent work explores permafrost thaw monitoring, glacier hydrology, and mine seismicity through scalable algorithms.
