Ehsan Teymourian is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Information Systems and Business Analytics in the College of Business at James Madison University (JMU). He holds a Ph.D. in Management Science from Rutgers Business School (2022) and previously served as a Lecturer at Rutgers Business School (2019-2022). His research focuses on logistics operations management, entrepreneurship, and data-driven methodologies including machine learning, natural language processing, and empirical methods. His work bridges theoretical contributions with practical applications in inventory control, supply chain optimization, and entrepreneurial dynamics.
Dr. Teymourian's academic contributions span algorithm development for scheduling problems (e.g., hybrid flow shop, cloud computing resource allocation) and robust inventory management under uncertainty. He has also critically examined methodological challenges in entrepreneurship research, advocating for replication studies and communality in academic practices.
