Ehsan Etezadi is a visiting researcher and doctoral student at Chalmers University of Technology, affiliated with the Department of Electrical Engineering (E2) and actively contributing to advancements in Optical Networks. His research focuses on Network Resource Allocation, Deep Reinforcement Learning, and Spectrum Management in Elastic Optical Networks. He has played a pivotal role in the PROTECT project (2021–2024), which addresses resilient and secure networks for critical infrastructures.
His recent publications demonstrate expertise in creating AI-driven solutions for spectrum defragmentation, programmable filterless optical network design, and impairment-aware resource allocation in multi-band environments.
