Efstratios Tsoukanis

Efstratios Tsoukanis is a researcher at Claremont Graduate University, collaborating with IMS Distinguished Research Professor Hrushikesh Mhaskar on computational harmonic analysis and machine learning, funded by the US Office of Naval Research. He holds a BS (2016) and MS (2019) in Mathematics from the University of Crete and a PhD (2024) from the University of Maryland under Dr. Radu Balan.

His work focuses on invariant machine learning models on graphs, leveraging low-dimensional Euclidean embeddings. Recent research includes permutation invariant embeddings and bi-Lipschitz properties in G-invariant representations.
