معرفی
Dr Edwige Roy serves as a Senior Research Coordinator at the Frazer Institute and an affiliate of the Dermatology Research Centre at The University of Queensland. Her research focuses on epidermal stem cell dynamics, skin carcinogenesis mechanisms, and therapeutic strategies for skin cancers. She has contributed to studies on UV-induced carcinogenesis, immune checkpoint inhibitors, and chemoprevention protocols using sirolimus.
Her work integrates molecular biology techniques, murine models, and clinical trials to address challenges in skin cancer prevention and wound healing. Notable projects include investigating regional epidermal susceptibility to UV damage and developing protocols for ablative therapies targeting mutation accumulation. Dr Roy collaborates extensively with multidisciplinary teams across dermatology, immunology, and vascular biology.
Her publications highlight advancements in understanding tumor microenvironment interactions, SOX gene regulation in vascular systems, and the role of immunosuppressive agents in progenitor cell function. She has presented findings at major conferences including the European Society for Dermatological Research and the International Investigative Dermatology Meeting.
Labs/Teams: Active member of the Frazer Institute and Dermatology Research Centre, contributing to translational research initiatives.
