Dr Edward Webb is a Senior Research Fellow at the School of Medicine, University of Leeds, within the Faculty of Medicine and Health. He is based in the Academic Unit of Health Economics, part of the Leeds Institute of Health Sciences, where he conducts research on patient preferences, decision making, and health valuation using stated preference methods.
His research focuses on health economics and behavioral decision-making, particularly through discrete choice experiments. These methods are widely used to understand patient and public preferences in healthcare, informing policy and clinical practice. His work intersects economics, public health, and behavioral science, contributing to equitable healthcare design and evaluation.
Edward Webb has supervised postgraduate researchers including Md Zahid Hasan and Iya Maliki. His research is embedded in collaborative units such as ARISE and the EPIC-PC study, which explores integrated neighborhood team approaches to palliative and end-of-life care in primary care settings.
