Dr. Edward Waller is a Professor and Industrial Research Chair in Health Physics and Environmental Safety at Ontario Tech University's Department of Energy and Nuclear Engineering within the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science. He holds a PhD in Nuclear Engineering and Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and prior degrees from the University of New Brunswick. His research focuses on applied health physics, radiation detection technology, nuclear security, and environmental impact of radionuclides. He has contributed to over 20 peer-reviewed publications since 2002, with recent work emphasizing medical radiation exposure assessment and radiological emergency response strategies.
