Edward Vanderfeen is a PhD Researcher at the QUT Centre for Robotics (QCR), focusing on collaborative lunar surface exploration methodologies in partnership with CSIRO. His research aims to enhance robotic teams' terrain traversal in extreme environments. Previously, he was a visiting student researcher at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), where he developed a sonar-based obstacle detection system for the BRUIE rover.
