Edward Thomas Horn

Edward Thomas Horn is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy and Therapeutics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy. He serves as a clinical pharmacist at the UPMC Heart and Vascular Institute, focusing on heart transplantation and mechanical circulatory support. Since 2018, he has held roles including Associate Director of the Cardiac Transplant Program (2022). His clinical expertise spans immunosuppression management, antibody-mediated rejection, and anticoagulation in mechanical support. He completed a PharmD from the University of Pittsburgh (2000), followed by PGY-1 and PGY-2 residencies in critical care pharmacy.
