Edward Braun

Dr. Edward Braun is an Associate Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology, Pain and Perioperative Medicine at the University of Kansas School of Medicine and a Board-certified Anesthesiologist at The University of Kansas Health System. He specializes in anesthesiology and pain medicine, with a focus on perioperative care and clinical research.

• Education: BS from Baker University, MD from the University of Kansas Medical Center, internship at Truman Medical Centers (University of Missouri-Kansas City), residencies at the University of Florida and Washington University in St. Louis, and a Pain Medicine fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis.

His research interests span anesthesiology, pain management, critical care, and clinical research initiatives within the perioperative domain. Dr. Braun contributes to medical education and patient care through his academic and clinical roles.
