Eduardo Bruera (born 1955 in Rosario, Argentina) is a renowned medical oncologist and pioneer in palliative care. He serves as Professor at the University of Texas School of Biomedical Sciences and directs the Department of Palliative, Rehabilitation and Integrative Medicine at MD Anderson Cancer Center (Houston, TX), the largest palliative care facility in the U.S. His work focuses on alleviating suffering for patients with advanced diseases.
