His work bridges philosophy, cognitive science, and empirical psychology, with strong interdisciplinary affiliations including Classics, History, and the World History Center.
His research interests lie primarily in the philosophy of cognitive science, experimental philosophy, moral psychology, and the methodology of psychology. His work critically engages with conceptual analysis, the structure of human cognition, and the scientific status of folk psychological categories.
The 15 most recent publications reflect a sustained engagement with experimental philosophy, employing empirical methods to test philosophical intuitions across cultures. His work spans moral judgment, epistemology, semantics, and cognitive architecture, with a strong emphasis on methodological rigor and interdisciplinary collaboration. He frequently publishes in high-impact journals such as Cognition, Noûs, and Nature Human Behavior, and has contributed to major debates about redefining statistical significance in psychology.
