Edouard Chastenet

Edouard Chastenet is an Associate Professor at iaelyon School of Management, Jean Moulin University Lyon, where he has been teaching since 2011. He leads the Master 2 Finance – Financial Engineering and Transaction (IFT) program and is actively involved in both teaching and research. His professional roles extend beyond academia, including serving as an expert witness at the Lyon Court of Appeal and leading entrepreneurial ventures in business valuation and textile services.

His research focuses on financial valuation methods, particularly for businesses and brands, the relevance of IAS/IFRS standards from an investor perspective, the relationship between brand capital and business performance, financial communication, and employer branding in higher education.
