Edoardo Rossetti

Edoardo Rossetti is a Researcher at the Department of Environment, Construction and Design, University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI). He holds a PhD in Historical, Geographical, and Anthropological Studies from the Universities of Padova, Ca’ Foscari Venice, and Verona (Italy). His research focuses on 15th-16th century art history, urban history, cultural history, and religious history, occasionally extending to the 14th century. He has curated notable exhibitions, including Bramantino. L’arte nuova del Rinascimento lombardo (2014), and contributed to the MOBARTECH project on cultural heritage preservation.

Rossetti has presented at international conferences (Berlin, Geneva, Salzburg) and published in prestigious journals across multiple languages (French, English, Spanish, German). His work emphasizes interdisciplinary approaches to Renaissance studies, blending historical analysis with technological innovation in cultural preservation. Awards include full honours for his 2006 thesis on aristocratic residences in Renaissance Milan under Ludovico Maria Sforza.
