Edoardo Beretta

Edoardo Beretta is an Adjunct Professor at the Faculty of Economics, Università della Svizzera italiana (USI), and Director of Examinations for the same faculty. He also holds roles as a member of the Scientific Directorate and Program Manager of the Lugano branch of the Master in Economia e Politiche Internazionali (MEPIN). His academic affiliations extend to Franklin University Switzerland (FUS) in Lugano-Sorengo and the Monetary Research Center (MRC), University of National and World Economy (Sofia). Beretta specializes in international macroeconomics, focusing on historical debt dynamics, international monetary systems, and the evolution of payment systems.

His recent work addresses emerging trends in digital currencies and their implications for monetary stability, as well as the socio-economic impacts of AI in labor markets.
