Edivaldo Ernesto

Edivaldo Ernesto is a dancer, choreographer, and improvisation expert with a global teaching and performance presence. Based in Germany and born in Mozambique, he integrates his cultural heritage into his work, particularly through West African traditional dance influences. His career spans collaborations with internationally renowned artists and institutions across five continents.

• Former member of Sasha Waltz & Guests Company (Berlin)
• Collaborator with David Zambrano since 2010 in "Flying Low" and "Passing Through" workshops
• Recipient of the 2020 Italian Danza & Danza Award for Best Performer

His choreographic works like "Half the Truth" (with Linda Kapetanea and RootlessRoot) and "I Can’t Breathe" (with Marco Blaauw) demonstrate his interdisciplinary approach to dance, music, and performance art.
